Horizontal drilling

Horizontal or sub-horizontal drilling is used for transferring resources or for embankment crossings, railways, roads, waterways with sewage pipes, aqueducts and gas pipes.
35 years of experience and technological development allow us to tackle even extreme operating conditions, including all types of terrain, presence of ground water and restricted construction site areas.

For all these we use two specific drilling techniques:

• Continuous spiral auger boring

For coating steel pipes with a diameter of between 200 mm and 1,500 mm

• Pipe jacking with hydraulic cylinders

Pipe jacking with hydraulic cylinders with maximum capacity of 200 t for pushing the pipes and concrete blocks.

Horizontal drilling is also used for water exploration, using machines and technology employed in water wells.
